Is this a lifetime illness?

I started developing hives is 2018. Along side a pituitary adenonoma called a prolactinoma. Hypothyroidism, Sjrogrens Syndrome, Psoriatic Artritis, Severe migraines, Severe nausea and or vomitting daily. I read online somewhere these can last between 3-5 years. I'm getting closer to that 5 year mark. Has anyone had them longer?

    1. Oh please do. I am currently dealing with my eyes being swollen closed. Both eyes. Waiting on my Xolair to arrive.

      1. Hi CommunityMember34,
I'm so sorry you're currently dealing with swollen eyes. I can't even being to imagine how painful and disconcerting that is.
I was first diagnosed with chronic hives in 2014. I've had flareups ever since. We've worked to find a medication combo that works to keep things at bay, and minimize flare ups.
Some only have then for a brief period of time, some longer. Have you discussed this with your doctor to find out your prognosis?

        1. they aren't sure what to do. Now due to having covid recently & being on immunosuppressive meds. I came up with a positive TB test. So the drama keeps unfolding by the day I feel like

        2. I'm so sorry to hear this. Have you considered getting a second opinion and changing your doctors? Perhaps that might be helpful in trying to navigate through this journey.

      2. Some of my Dr's left their practice. During covid. Including this Dr. So it's frustrating. Starting all over with someone new. But if I don't get 300 MG of Xolair every 28 days it's happening all over again. It sucks.
