Hi Karen,
A little bit more about myself. I started having daily hives out of the blue when I was 19. They would appear all over my body. That was over 30 years ago...
Back then I started researching it and doing what you are probably doing. I have done allergy tests and went to doctors and even took steroids (btw they didn't help at all) I decided not to give up and make it my life's goal to find something to stop them.
I can now say I have found it and the answer is probably reducing inflammation in the body. I went through being a vegetarian for 2 years, nothing helped if anything it got worse. So little by little I got to a carnivore diet. It means no vegetables, no vegetable oils, no carbs. I suggest that you watch videos on YouTube and read thru 1000s of comments to see what it does. You don't have to eat that way for the rest of your life but I would suggest 90 days to see how it goes.
Use butter/ghee/good olive oil if you must to cook your meals. I bought an air frier (best stakes I have ever made) even my friends rave about it.
As far as costs go, you will save money because you can't eat as much...
One important thing is to eat fatty meats. (meat, eggs, butter, salt, water)
If you decide to do this please keep updating this post, I really want you and others to feel as good as I do. (Side effects will be lost weight, lower blood pressure, lower A1C....)
I am not a doctor if you do your research about the diet, contact your doctor to see what he says.
