What worked for me.

No doctor could offer any effective solutions. So out of desperation I searched the web (always ify, I know, but I felt like I had no choice) and came across a allergist that suggested his patient try 2 Zyrtec and 1 Pepcid in the morning and the same thing at bedtime (4 Zyrtec & 2 Pepcid per day).

It worked like a charm right away and I’ve never looked back.

Does anyone know if there is any data on negative effects of prolonged use of this high a dose of a drug like Zyrtec?? Ive been on this regimen for close to 10 years now.

Hope this bit of personal story helps others. 😊

  1. ,
I'm glad you found some relief.
I realize you may have been desperate in searching for a solution over the internet. I would advise that is not the best approach(for your own safety).
Taking any medication long term can be dangerous. According to the manufacturers packaging, Pepcid long term can cause liver issues and Zyrtec long term can not only cause withdrawal issues but liver issues as well.
I would recommend checking in with your health care provider to discuss these treatment options as well as their long term effects.
