What is the most annoying 'cure' a stranger or family member has suggested to you?
People with chronic hives are constantly told to "just change laundry detergent" or "stop being stressed." Sometimes, these comments come from a good place, but are not helpful.
We want to know: What is the most annoying 'cure' a stranger or family member has suggested to you?

It's the cat. I heard this over and over because my first outbreak was about a week after we got a maine coon mix. Got rid of the cat and almost a year later the hives are going strong. We cleaned everything. I still hear it. And we do still have 2 cats but I lived in a house with 16 cats for a year and never had an issue with basic shorthair cats.

That's frustrating.
At times it seems like everyone has an opinion and they choose to share it.
